-WED.  OCT. 7, 2009: After a car crash on Sept 24th, I’m left without a car, staples in my head (keeping the brains in), plus head back and neck pains.  I’m incredibly thankful to be alive, as it is believed by many that I defied all odds.  I still managed to make an appearance at Larry Marciano’s surprise birthday bash, all be-it medicated.  Hopefully we’ll have some photos of that soon for you to enjoy.  Check back often as exciting things are always in the works!

-TUE. SEPT. 13, 2009: I’M BACK!  I’m happy to announce that shows are being booked, new songs and rearranged old songs are being rehearsed, and we’ll performing them.  First up, one of the best venues in L.A., The Mint, likely followed by a performance at Abuelitas in Malibu/Topanga Canyon.  Check back often.  We’re planning on video taping and recording as many of these performances as possible, then quickly making them available for download and purchase!!!

-SUN. AUGUST 30, 2009: There hasn’t been an update in a long time for one main reason....I hemorrhaged a vocal chord in early May which has left me unable to sing.  I was told that I may not be able to ever sing again.  Until last week, that seemed very likely.  I’ve had a little bit of progress and have been focusing on rehabilitation.  God willing, I’ll be able to perform again by the end of September, but possibly without the range, power, or control that I once had.  Eitherway, a new project is well underway.  Whether I’ll be able to sing on it will be determined when all the songs are getting close to be recorded!

-FEB. 6, 2009: JOSEPH JOHN leaves BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME for other musical ventures.  “While I’ve really enjoyed the three years of my life I dedicated to BLNT, they have decided to pursue a slightly different course of music that no longer includes keyboards.  With that in mind, I look forward to the opportunity to create new music with other musicians and wish the BLNT boys the best of luck in this new direction!”

-JULY 7, 2008: DAYJAMS Rock Music Day Camp for kids, under direction of Joseph John, opens for three weeks in the Los Angeles area.  Featuring friends from tours and various recordings as teachers.

-MAY 25, 2008: BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME sees their new CD hit #2 on the “Tower Records Top Albums Chart” in Japan.  The only artist holding them back from #1 is Madonna.

-APRIL 10, 2008: BETTER LUCK NEXT TIME in celebration of the new release of their CD “Start From Skratch” sell out the Key Club on Hollywood’s famed Sunset Strip.
